Social Emotional Learning
with Unruly Splats

At Unruly, we know that social emotional learning (SEL) takes time and practice. That’s why we’ve developed this activity pack focusing on the core competencies of self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

WHAT'S IN THE ACTIVITY PACK?

In this lesson plan, Bug Out, students learn to code with Unruly Splats while developing problem solving and communication skills by working together to find the bugs in the code provided.

WHAT ARE UNRULY SPLATS?

Unruly Splats is the only K-8 cross-curricular program that combines learning to code with active play. Using lesson plans or guided activities, students code what they play. Relay races, obstacle courses, quiz shows—sky’s the limit on the games they can create!

I always tell my students failing is an important part of the learning process. Getting to the point where something isn’t working, learning from that experience, continuing to move forward, and making some changes along the way really allows them to grow in their learning experience and create something unique and special to them.
